Opening Bell: Bringing Public Equity On-Chain

From day one, we’ve focused on upgrading regulated assets into digital-first financial products. Now, we’re bringing our expertise to the most consequential capital market in the world: public equities.

Superstate is proud to introduce Opening Bell, a platform that enables companies to issue publicly registered equity directly onto blockchain networks like Solana and Ethereum.

Built on the same high-performance infrastructure that powers our tokenized funds USTB and USCC, Opening Bell brings public equity into the internet era, making shares programmable, available 24/7, and ready to trade at the speed of crypto.

Shares of companies are recorded and tokenized by Superstate’s SEC-registered, blockchain-enabled transfer agent. It’s not synthetic exposure or wrapped tokens–it’s a company’s actual shares, on-chain for the first time.

When a company is ready for their shares to begin trading, they ring the Opening Bell at Superstate’s New York City headquarters, signaling the start of trading on company-selected decentralized exchanges on Solana and Ethereum.

For companies that are already publicly traded, Opening Bell opens a new capital market, and the additional demand that comes with it. For companies that haven’t gone public yet, Opening Bell is a chance to make shares available in a crypto-native market, to crypto-native investors, with a path to up-list on the Nasdaq or NYSE when ready.

Opening Bell allows anyone to invest in high-growth companies at the start of their public journey–before traditional markets would make them available–with the ease of trading crypto tokens.

Addresses on the Superstate Allowlist are eligible to hold Opening Bell shares as soon as trading begins. There are three ways to join:

  1. Existing shareholders are onboarded by the company prior to listing

  2. Investors can register through Superstate and add their Solana and Ethereum addresses

  3. Partner wallet providers can enable access for KYC’ed users

Opening Bell is the modern path to opening up public markets—powered by programmable equity tokens, compliant from day one, and open to the world 24/7.
